News

I now have available for sale CDs of my recent lectures, all are available from me 15 each, 3 for 40 or all 4 for 50.

These are a good idea for clubs to have in hand in case a speaker lets you down or even for your own personal viewing.      Choose from the titles shown below.

Please e-mail irene.froy@btinternet.com for my address to send your cheque or bank details to transfer the payment.

These are not travelogues - it is just that I seem to have more opportunities for pictures on holiday.

"Pictures on PermaJet".  covers the landscape and villages of Holland, Alsace and a journey through France

"Irene's Images"  contains images from Scotland, Spain and France, landscape and other things that have caught my eye.

"Pastels and More"  contains my signature images - pastels whenever the conditions allow and the more bit refers to occasions when the conditions are not right for pastels.    The difference is explained in the commentary as well as illustrated with the images.     Scotland and France feature again with some local Shropshire shots as well.

"Dawn till Dusk"       Images from The Hebrides, The Highlands in Autumn, Ireland, England, and a few from France.     Some tips on processing the images are    also included in the commentary.

"A Passion for Pastels"    the latest lecture on CD is now available.     Images from Ireland, England, and Burgundy, France plus some info on how they were processed but it is still not a tutorial.

The images are completely new in all talks with no overlap.

Please note that all CDs only work with PC and not with MAC

Hello Irene,

I bought your recorded lecture at Smethwick a few weeks ago on behalf of Vale of Evesham Camera Club.

We had occasion to show it on Monday as our booked speaker was unwell and cancelled at the last minute. I thought I would let you know that it went down well with our membership and there were chuckles at the appropriate places!       There was also applause at the end so it was well appreciated.

Thank you very much for the work you put into recording – it was the next best thing to yourself in person!

Kind regards,    Sally Hammond    Programme Secretary  VECC

On behalf of the Studley Camera Club I would like to thank you for the wonderful recorded lecture we had on Wednesday evening this week.

Apart from wonderful pictures the number of effects you can gain by moving a little and the different technique that you used was superb.

Will you be making any more recorded lectures ?.  We will be watching closely, Thank you again,

Rosemary Morris, Chairman and Programme Secretary of Studley Camera Club

My husband, Gerry, who is also my driver, is now 83 and he feels we need to slow down a bit and restrict my lecturing to local clubs as long distance driving on dark nights is becoming difficult.    I am still taking a few bookings for next season but 2015/16 will have to be the last season of live lecturing unless arrangements can be made so that Gerry doesn't have to drive in the dark.

Perhaps some local clubs will consider collecting us from Wellington?    That would certainly help.    Or we can come by Private Hire Car, ask me for a quote.

If you live further away perhaps you would like to consider coming for the weekend.      There is plenty to see and photograph around Ironbridge (5 miles from Wellington) and don't forget Blist's Hill Victorian Village.

They offer great photographic opportunities.    Hope to see you soon.

I have published a book of French Images titled - My France.   Please click on the box below for a preview on Blur site.
